I grew up on a farm, in a small town in Northeast Oregon. I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. I moved to Bend and bought a house in 2005 and I recently got married. I live with my husband Andy, my miniature dachshund Sophie, and my cat Moses McKitty.
